Heat Calculations

Results of formulas are rounded to the nearest two decimal places.

Heat Generation Formulas:

  • 1HP=2,545 BTU per hour

  • HP=PSI x GPM / 1714

  • 1 Watt will raise the temperature of 1 gallon by 1 degree per hour

  • HP x 745.7 = watts
